Quote
I’m writing/authoring a book using quotes. Initially I started with the all the motivational quotes I could find. Then I looked at a book my daughter gave me with women’s quotes.
We, us women, are different in how we process and how we quote.
Early 1700’s we quoted in the books we wrote, we were property then. We didn’t have the right to vote, or complain but, we still had thoughts and opinions. The thoughts and opinion were hidden in the books written by women.
I’ll share a few wonderful quotes I’ve found during this month. Timing is important too! When where they quoted?
Todays quote is by Bertha Felicitas Sophie Freifrau von Suttner
“After the verb ‘to Love,’ ‘to Help’ is the most beautiful verb in the world.”
– Bertha von Suttner
Bertha Felicitas Sophie Freifrau von Suttner (Baroness Bertha von Suttner, née Countess Kinsky, Gräfin Kinsky von Wchinitz und Tettau; 9 June 1843 – 21 June 1914) was a Czech-Austrian pacifist and novelist. In 1905 she was the first woman to be solely awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, becoming the second female Nobel laureate after Marie Curie’s 1903 award,[1] and the first Austrian laureate.
