Envisioning Possibilities

Creativity

Creativity involves generating new ideas, solutions, or original and valuable approaches.

Ways to Enhance Creativity

A respondent asked about the reference in my last blog regarding creativity and reducing burnout. Lauren Fiorko, Ph.D., wrote an article in Psychology. Today

My experience running a 7 figure business was mentally exhausting, and I found doing something unrelated to work exhilarating.

One of those things for me was spending time in different natural settings, such as mountains, forests, beaches, or deserts. My daughter and husband sharing a walk on the beach.  She’s currently writing ” Walking with Dad”

Nature can inspire creativity and provide a fresh outlook.

Another thought is to Engage in activities you’ve never tried, such as

pottery, woodworking, photography, dance or tubing.  Ziplining – a gift  from my daughter for my 75th birthday.

My favorite is to

Visit places that are not typical tourist destinations. Experiencing unique environments can spark new ideas. I love going to the pancake breakfasts or spaghetti dinners of other communities. I learned who the NFPs are and how they are fundraising for their love.

Join me July 23 and July 30 for Envisioning Possibilities –  evening 6 – 7:30.
