We’ve all set goals that gave us a little spark—finish the project, land the client, lose the weight, organize the closet (again). And sometimes, yes, we even hit those goals. But here’s the truth: the ones that stick? The ones that actually change us? Those are different.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately—not about goals that motivate, but goals that transform. In his book Atomic Habits, James Clear puts it beautifully: real change doesn’t come from chasing outcomes. It comes from shifting identity. You don’t just want to write a book—you want to become someone who writes. You’re not just trying to get organized—you’re becoming someone who values clarity. That shift matters.

Motivating goals give us momentum. Transformational goals give us direction—and a new definition of who we are becoming. That’s where the magic is.

You can not have what you are not willing to become.

Take one of your goals (yes, even the small ones), and ask:
What kind of person would naturally live this out?
Then—don’t overthink it—just do one small thing today that proves you already are.

You’re not waiting for change. You’re becoming it.

Branding

Branding isn’t built in a studio—it’s built in the moments between meetings, at networking events, and even while waiting for your latte.

From Drawings to Dialogue

Designers aren’t just visual thinkers—we’re translators of imagination.
When you can turn drawings into dialogue, every presentation becomes a partnership.

How Humor Can Lighten the Room

A smile can make your design pitch twice as memorable. Humor, when done right, isn’t about being a comedian it’s about being human. A little laughter reminds everyone that design is supposed to bring joy, not stress. So the next time you walk into a presentation, bring your sense of humor along with your fabric swatches. You’ll leave behind not only a beautiful concept but also a positive impression.
